Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) Rental
AES operates a fleet of more than 6,000 CCUs across Angola, supporting the transport and temporary storage of all categories of waste. This extensive infrastructure ensures effective mitigation of environmental contamination risks while enabling safe and efficient offshore and onshore logistics operations.
All AES CCUs are designed, manufactured, and certified according to DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 standards.
AES CCU rental services include a dedicated team working 24/7 days a week, to support customer operations and ensure that all CCUs are kept in good condition (including cleaning) and recertified.
This allows AES to return the CCU to customers more quickly, making customer operations more efficient.
The AES CCU fleet includes:
- Closed Skips – suitable for the transportion of liquid drilling waste and sludge
- Open Skips – suitable for the transportion of solid waste (contaminated and non-contaminated)
- 6ft Mini-containers – suitable for the transport and temporary storage of up to 2 IBCs ("Intermediate Bulk Containers") with chemical waste
- 10ft Closed Containers – suitable for the transportion of cargo and equipment
- 20ft Open-top Containers – suitable for the transport of larger materials and solid waste
- Tanks (of various types) for the transportion of hydrocarbons or contaminated liquid waste
- Baskets (of various dimensions) – for the transportion of materials and solid waste
