AES provides centrifugation services for drilling mud plants aimed at reconditioning oil-based muds, including collection, transfer treatment, and disposal of centrifugation underflow.

Quayside infrastructure for reception of liquid and bulk waste from offshore platforms.

At the Sonils Base quayside, AES has developed a dedicated waste‑handling facility. One section is designed for the reception of liquid waste contaminated with hydrocarbons—including liquid and oily mixtures and tank bottom sludge—and consists of six tanks with a capacity of 200 m³ each, as well as four silos of 180 m³. A separate section comprises two additional silos of 180 m³ each, dedicated to the storage of bulk dry powder waste.

This infrastructure allows AES to receive waste directly from ship tanks, reducing the logistical effort and carbon footprint of its customers.
